Abstract

Domestic violence is violence that occurs in domestic life. sexual, psychological and/or family neglect, involved threats to the family law area. However, the alleged victim through this law is: A person who is the target of violence or threat of violence in the household, e.g. husband, wife, children, family relationships and core members (husband, wife, children) due to family relationships, marriage, breastfeeding, adultery and guardianship, living at home. The forms of protection stipulated in the law are temporary protection by the police, protection by the court, and placement of victims in "safe houses". The protection of domestic violence regulated in Law Number 23 Year 2004 on the Elimination of Domestic Violence is expected to be able to provide legal protection for victims of domestic violence significantly. This research is to provide an overview of the protection of victims in Domestic Violence.
