Abstract

This research aims to investigate the relationship between ethics and integrity of police officers in the context of preventing deviance in the police. By analyzing the concepts of ethics, integrity, and deviance, this research aims to understand the key role played by moral values and integrity in minimizing incidents of deviance in the police. Through a qualitative approach, this research outlines how ethics and integrity can be integrated pragmatically in policing practices to improve the quality of public services and strengthen relations between the police and the community. It is hoped that the results of this research will provide an in-depth understanding of police professional ethics in the Republic of Indonesia and its impact on law enforcement and community services, as well as become the basis for recommendations and improvements to improve police professional ethics in the future.
