Abstract
An Overview of Conformity in Adolescent Smokers in Bekasi City. This research was carried out based on the phenomenon that one of the increasing smoking among adolescents in the city of Bekasi in men and women is caused by influencing factors, namely association can lead to conformity among adolescent smokers in the city of Bekasi. The purpose of this study was to find out the conformity profile of adolescent smokers in Bekasi City. The population and research sample used were teenagers in the city of Bekasi with a total of 150 respondents, with the data collection technique using purposive sampling. Based on the results of calculating the conformity picture with the independent sample test that F = 2.039 (p = 0.155) because p ≤0.05. So it can be said that there is no significant difference in the results of the average scores of male and female adolescents on the conformity description of adolescent smokers in the city of Bekasi. In this study, it is necessary to look more evenly at the level of conformity among adolescent smokers in the city of Bekasi as a whole.
